NUS Wushu Invitational Championship

Hi all,

NUS Wushu Invitational Championship was a great success today! Thanks go out to all of the competitors from participating institutions, all supporters present to cheer them on, the organising committee and helpers, and to everyone who made this possible!

We are very proud to announce that the NUS Wushu team did well in this year's Invitational Championship and managed to clinch a total of 3 Golds, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals to emerge as 3rd overall!

Below are the names of the NUS Wushu team members and the respective categories in which they emerged victorious:

Traditional Nan Quan (Male) - Chooi Jing Yuan, Bronze Medal
Traditional Chang Quan (Male) - Zhang Tian, Gold Medal; Poh Jia Hou, Bronze Medal
Traditional Chang Quan (Female) - Chan Shing Wai, Silver Medal
Ba Ji Quan (Male) - Clarence Low Han Song, Gold Medal; Lee Zheng Jun, Silver Medal
Traditional Xiang Xing (Female) - Png Xin Ge, Silver Medal
Traditional Long Weapon (Male) - Yap Chee Seong, Silver Medal
Traditional Double Weapon (Male) - Lin Yu Xiang, Silver Medal
Traditional Double Weapon (Female) - Yuan Lu, Gold Medal

NUS Wushu Invitational Championship

NUS Wushu is very proud to be hosting the Wushu Invitational Championship this year. It will be held at NUS, MPSH 5, on the 30th October, 2010, from 9am - 7pm.

Do feel free to come down to support any of your friends from NUS or from any of the other 7 participating tertiary institutions [NTU, SMU, NYP, NP, SP, RP, ITE(C), ITE(W)]!
