For Newbies

Hi Newbies
As our training is too short for you all to absorb so many movements at once, I think it is better to post some videos for some e-learning stuffs.
Firstly is the Wu Bu Quan

Well, just bear with the background music. I know it doesn't make sense here..lol

During that part of training, I noticed that there were a few people who could not execute certain stances correctly. If possible, try to correct it before it turns into a bad habit. Below is the video on the marking criteria for basic stances. Try to note those important points that mentioned, it is certainly helpful for your upcoming wushu test(^hint hint^).

Next, is for those who are interested in Boardsword
This video consists of typical stances in any Boardsword routine.

Below is the international competition routine for Boardsword

Lastly, for my sword clan..there you go.
This video is all about thrusting with a sword. Note how he makes the thrust and the way he hold a sword.

This video consists of typical stances in any Straight Sword routine.

Below is the international competition routine for Straight Sword

Notice her gracefulness in all her movement? How to be graceful? Well, you do not have to call yourself as grace in order to be graceful. As time goes by, through subsequent trainings, you will slowly 'level up' and understand what to expect, hence don't worry. I ain't that good either. haha

Envious, excited? Well, all you need is PASSION, the Will to excel and overcome. Okies, so, after watching these videos, if you have any doubt, feel free to consult your coach or your seniors/Teaching assistant(TA). We are more than willing to help you.
Our preferred consultation hours are:
Monday 7pm- 10pm
Friday 7pm-10pm
Alternatively, you may try to email me or your fellow seniors:x

Alright that's all folks
GOOD LUCK!
AP Ching (Ah Pek)
