Long range weapons

Hey everyone especially Newbies, it's me again. Hope you all would like those videos that I have recommended. I reckon that some of you may keen to know about long range weapons. Oh, well..... As time goes by, when you "level up", you will begin to expose to more weapons, even the most impossible weapon that you might never expect such as bench..(HUH BENCH!?!?!?)..yea Bench..(How about books?...erm maybe, u never know)...
There are 2 typical long range weapons that we usually use. They are: Cudgel aka 棍 and Spear aka 枪. Most of of the time, an wushu practitioner/pugilist who learns boardsword will end up learning cudgel while straight sword will end up learning spear. The reason is because those movements/stances in Cudgel and Boardsword emphasize mainly on strength while the latter group emphasizes mainly on agility with movements that are usually spread apart(quite difficult to describe here..haha). So, if you were to follow the unorthodox way (i.e straightsword and cudgel), yea, you may go ahead, so long as you like it...haha..alright, go take some time and analyse those videos below:

Elementary stances

For spear
Elementary Stances

International competition routine for cudgel

Ok, basically there are other competition routines for different weapons...go check it out on youtube. The reasons that I chose these were because they are the most common ones and most importantly, I prefer these routines over the traditional ones (a bit bias here.. :x well, I was only exposed to these routines since I started wushu) Actually, these routines look quite cool, aren't they? For those guys here who are now thinking that by learning those cool routines will attract some attention from gals. oh well, let me tell u that it doesn't seem to work yea(tested and proven)...erm Mystery or Misery? you decide...lol. Basically, just enjoy your trainings and appreciate each and every second with us, because who knows one day you might miss these days!
